Make your event a huge success by marketing efficiently through XL Center Advertising, a full-service agency. Based on your specific budget, we can devise a complete advertising plan to best reach your target market and generate ticket sales, which would include recommendations on media schedules, promotions, mailings and / or grass roots marketing efforts. We can also coordinate these efforts for you and place the advertising schedules. You will benefit not only from our low contract rates but also from our local relationships that enable us to leverage the best possible placement & frequency for your money.

Promotions

Working with the media, we can design and implement promotions that will help publicize your event with increased visibility. XL Center Advertising can also generate three way promotions that combine the strength of an outside sponsor (i.e. 3rd party) with a media outlet to help further advertise your show.

Additional support we can provide includes:

coordination of promotional discounts that help generate visibility
coop advertising in conjunction with our AHL hockey team, the Hartford Wolf Pack
numerous local efforts, i.e. poster and flyer distribution to downtown businesses
coordination of a trade advertising initiative with up to 80 media partners, where advertising space or airtime is provided in exchange for tickets on a dollar-for dollar basis

Numerous mailing opportunities are also available through XL Center Advertising's media partners & downtown connections.

Email blasts are yet another option we would be happy to discuss with you. Numerous databases can be used to target your particular audience(s). A monthly newsletter of upcoming events is already emailed to a preferred customer database.

Public Relations

Our publicity capabilities enable us to write, send and personally follow up on media releases and advertisements to local and regional print and broadcast new outlets. These important activities provide even greater visibility for your event and are designed to generate last-minute impressions and sales.

Creative Services

XL Center Advertising can assist you in the design of camera ready artwork for magazines & newspapers, and can coordinate the production of attention-getting radio scripts and TV commercials that will get you the necessary exposure and generate ticket sales.

Group Sales

The XL Center actively pursues group ticket sales for predetermined events. Our in-house group sales team can pre-sell your event using a comprehensive database of local and regional companies, civic and youth groups and other organizations that purchase group tickets on a regular basis. Preferred customer mailing programs can also be designed to maximize sales within demonstrated buying groups.

Outdoor Marquee Daily, tens of thousands of event-goers, commuters and pedestrians will see your event featured on these highly visible, fully animated mediums. All XL Center events are continuously displayed on our outdoor marquee, box office marquee and indoor Daktronics boards. These displays include show name, date and times and are programmed to run throughout the month prior to your event.
Messageboards Events coming to the XL Center can take advantage of the 2 full-color messageboards located inside the Coliseum. Your show info can be displayed on the boards along with a logo or an .avi-animated file prior to the start of all other events in the Coliseum!
Jumbotron Events coming to the XL Center can take advantage of the center-hung Jumbotron scoreboard located inside the Coliseum. Your show's :30 TV spot or other show footage can be shown on the Jumbotron screens prior and / or during select events taking place in the Coliseum.
Publications Star View is a bi-monthly magazine produced solely for Madison Square Garden-CT events. This entertainment publication featured information on our luxury level seating options, highlights events taking place in the upcoming months and much more. Included with in Star View is Sights & Sounds, our entertainment schedule, which is conveniently designed as a removable calendar that can be displayed separately from the magazine. 5,000 copies of Star View are produced and distributed to businesses throughout Downtown Hartford, area hotels, restaurants, colleges, Bradley International Airport, and the Greater Hartford Welcome Center on Pratt Street. Copies of Star View are also made available at attendees at all events at the XL Center. Sights & Sounds is also distributed monthly in an email blast format to our continuously growing email database system.

XL Center Bus Advertise your show on the XL Center's "moving billboard"! We have teamed up with Connecticut Transit to create a special bus with artwork highlighting top sporting events, shows and concerts from the XL Center's past and present. There are two areas available for signage - one on either side - where your event information can be displayed back to top
